The significant other recently complained about the amount of selfies flooding Facebook now.
Suddenly, a glimmer of thought flashed in my head: I think I'm guilty too.
After all, when is enough enough? How many #gpoy's (that's "Gratuitous Photo of Yourself", in case you didn't get to jump in the bandwagon) are you allowed to take and post before you are accused of reaching the threshold of what's socially acceptable?
Because I'm almost turning 28 (I can't believe how time flies!), I figured I should make a list of all the things I've learned in life. Take these with a grain of salt though: my experiences/lessons may not exactly be applicable to you.
27 LESSONS/27 YEARS:
A few months ago, my interesting exchange with my Fil-Canadian cousin, then vacationing in the Philippines, made me ponder on my life as a communications professional -- as well as a person who just loves speaking his mind out.
HELLO, MY NAME IS EVAN TAN.
I'm a writer and communications professional based in Manila, Philippines. Outside of my regular job, I like to travel, work out, volunteer, watch movies and plays, go to art galleries/ fairs and museums, read books, and eat vegetarian food.
More about me here.
